DAY 01
Arrival and welcome by a representative of Lanka Sportreizen and
transfer to Kandy- the Hill Capital.

DAY 02
After breakfast visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela via
Kurunegala - the “City of the Elephant” as it is bordered by a
rock in the shape of a sleeping elephant and the Royal Botanical
Gardens at Peradeniya.City Tour of Kandy including the Temple of
the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha In the evening watch a
Cultural Perfonnance by traditional Kandyan Dancers and
Drummers.

DAY 03
After breakfast transfer to the Kandy Railway Station.
Travel by train to Pattipola - the railway station at the
highest elevation in Sri Lanka , to enjoy the panoramic scenery
of the Hill Country
Pick up and transfer to Sunny Valley Tea Plantation

A Planter’s Bungalow in a picturesque surrounding approachable
by narrow winding roads.

DAY 04
After breakfast leave for the Horton Plain’s -Sri Lanka’s
highest and most isolated plateau and visit the World’s End- a
sheer drop of more than 1000 metres Sight Seeing in the Nuwara
Eliya - the “Little England”with Sri Lanka’s highest mountain -
Pidurutalagala in the back ground with its exclusive British
architechture , the Victoria Park , The Golf Course etc

A planter’s Bunagalow in one of the most picturesque
surroundings located in a place where there is much to do to
pass time.

DAY 05
After breakfast enjoy the nature at it’s best in the surrounding
area including the Hakgala Botanical Gardens
Visit the Tea Plantation and the Factory to witness the
manufacturing process of world famous “Ceylon Tea”

DAY 06
After breakfast leave for Ella.
Enjoy the scincillating beauty of the Ella Gap and the Rawana
Ella Water Fall and the wood working skills of the Sri Lankan
Craftsmen at the Bogoda Bridge Return to the Eislabey Tea
Plantation, Bandarawela

DAY 07
After breakfast leave for Haputale Visit the famous Lipton’s
Seat - used by the “Father of the Ceylon Tea Empire” - Sir
Thomas Lipton and the St.Catherin’s Seat embedded in
breathtakingly beautiful scenery In Haputale visit the
“Adhisham” - the Country Residence of Sir Thomas Villiers, a
distinguished Britisher who resided in Sri Lanka where a
Benedictine Monastery is in place and the Bambarakanda Water
Falls - Sri Lanka’s highest at 863 feet
Leave for the Aberdeen Tea Plantation , Norton Bridge

DAY 08
After breakfast leave for Colombo.
En route visit the location of the famous film “Bridge on the
river Kwai” in Kitulgala.
Transfer to Air Port for departure. |
