Day 01
Arrival, welcome by a representative of Lanka Sportreizen and transfer to Hotel.

Test runs of bikes in readiness for the tour.

Dinner and overnight stay at the Goldi Sands Hotel, Negombo.
Day 02
After breakfast start biking to Kurunegala - the City of the Elephant.

The route will be through the village level untarred, undeveloped roads passing through brick/tile kilns, Coir Factories, Coconut / Rubber / Pineapple Plantations, Paddy Fields on flat land with occasional hilly areas.

The distance will be approximately 65 - 70 km

Visit the Elephant Orphanage to see the world's largest herd of domestic Elephants including babies who are still being fed by bottle thrice a day

Day 03
After breakfast start biking to Sigiriya.

The route will be through cart tracks , undeveloped trails, a small distance on developed roads, passing Paddy Fields, Shifting Cultivation(traditional form of "slash and burn cultivation"), dry zone vegetation, hilly areas to some extent with medium range hills.

The distance will be approximately 80 - 85 km

Day 04
After breakfast leave for Giritale

The route will be muddy tracks, paved roads, occasional tarred roads, dry zone jungles, Teak Plantations., Paddy Fields. This will be entirely on flat land.

Day 05
After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa - Medieval Capital - 11th Century AD

The route will be same as the previous day.

In Polonnaruwa, visit the many sites of historical and archaeological interest which clearly depicts the influence that India had on Sri Lanka during that period of history, by vehicle.

Dinner and overnight stay at the Giritale Hotel, Giritale
Day 06
After breakfast leave for Kandy - the Hill Capital via agricultural areas in Elahera and Bakamoona through the Knuckles Range passing Riverstone - an amazing creation of Mother Nature - a cooler climate of fantastic proportions with in a dry zone climate.

Today's route will be along developed tarred roads, but a major part with only an occasional vehicle running.

As the distance is going to be long, they can pack up whenever they desire.

Walk in to a Spice Garden and take part in a conducted tour to get some knowledge about the growth and use of spices in the day to day life

In the evening watch a Cultural Performance by traditional Kandyan Dancers and Drummers including devotional “Fire Walking" and walk across in the star lit night to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha - by far the most important place of worship for Buddhists world over.

Day 07
After breakfast leave a City Tour including the Upper Lake Drive - a place where one could have a bird's eye view of the city below, the Royal Botanical Gardens - one of the best of its kind in Asia with more than 5000 species of different varieties of flora which incidentally was the Headquarters of Lord Louise Mountbatten - the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces during the 2nd World War, a Gem Museum - to see how the valuable gems that you see on a shop shelf are turned out from a raw stone with the back ground history,.

Leave for Galaha

The route will be rather hilly but absolutely beautiful running through "Green Carpets' - Tea Estates with meager human or vehicular traffic .This distance will be approximately 35km

Time permitting en route visits the "Tea Museum" at the Hanatana Tea Plantation

Dinner and overnight stay at a Tea Plantation Bungalow, earlier owned by an Irish Planter/Local Guest House, Kandy
Day 08
Relax
After lunch leave for Nuwara Eliya - "Little England"

The route will be surrounded by hills covered with Tea, terraced paddy fields, remote villages etc amidst breathtakingly beautiful landscapes. Once on the main road pick up by vehicle

The distance will be approximately 50km

En route visit a Tea Factory and a Plantation to witness the manufacturing process of world famous “Ceylon Tea" and to taste a pure unblended cup of factory fresh tea before being sent to the Tea Auctions in Colombo leading to Export.

Day 09
After breakfast start biking to Bandarawela with picturesque landscapes of the hill country in the back ground.

Hilly areas - on very good tarred roads but with less traffic for most of the time - approximate distance 50 km.

Day 10
Relax with nature at its best
Start biking towards Uda Walawe

Bike as much as you enjoy aiming at the Uda Walawe National Park.
Undertake a Jeep Safari of the Uda Walawe National Park mainly to see wild elephants

Dinner and overnight stay at the Centauria Hotel, Embilipitiya
Day 11
After breakfast leave for Bentota on the south west coast by vehicle

En route visit the Wevurukannala Temple to see one of Sri Lanka's tallest seated Buddha Statues, Veherahena underground Temple Complex, Galle Dutch Fortress - a World Heritage Site, a Mask Museum etc.

Dinner and overnight stay at the LSR Guest House, Bentota
Day 12 / 13
Relax on the beach /undertake a Boat Cruise in the backwaters through mangroves to enjoy nature, life styles etc.

Transfer to the airport for departure.
