Day 01 Arrival and welcome by a representative of Lanka Sportreizen and transfer to Hotel Afternoon City Tour of Colombo including the National Zoological Gardens at Dehiwala. En route visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela to see the largest domesticated herd of elephants in Sri Lanka of all ages. You might feel lucky if you are there at a feeding time to see babies being fed by bottle and other places of interest. Accommodation: Giritale Hotel Giritale Day 03 After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa - the medieval Capital of SriLanka - 11th Century AD Visit the ancient monuments of historical and archaeological interest. In the evening undertake a Jeep Safari of the Kaudulla Tank Reserve. Accommodation: Giritale Hotel, Giritale   Day 04 After breakfast undertake a Jeep Safari of the Minneriya National Park. En route climb the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya considered to be the 8th wonder of the world, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a Spice Garden and other places of interest. Accommodation: Rest House, Matale Day 06 After breakfast undertake a Jeep Safari of Wasgamuwa National Park. Accommodation: Kin-Ju Satain Village, Wasgamuwa Day 07 After breakfast leave for Kandy. In Kandy, undertake a City Tour of Kandy including the Udawattekelle Nature Reserve, the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. In the evening watch a Cultural Performance by traditional Kandyan Dancers and Drummers. Accommodation: Thilanlca Hotel, Kandy Day 08 After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya - the “Little England”. En route visit a Tea Plantation and a Factory Sight seeing in the Town and the Victoria Park etc. Accommodation: Windsor Hotel , Nuwara Eliya   Day 09 After breakfast leave for the Horton Plain’s National Park - Sri Lanka’s highest and most isolated plateau and visit the World’s End- a sheer drop of more than 1000 metres Try locating the large herds of Sambhurs. Accommodation: Windsor Hotel, Nuwara Eliya   Day 10 After breakfast leave for Embilipitiya Undertake a Jeep Safari of the Uda Walawe National Park and proceed to Hotel Accommodation: Centauria Hotel, Embilipitiya   Day 11 After breakfast leave for Hambantota. Undertake a Jeep Safari of the Ruhuna (Yala) National Park and proceed to Hotel. Accommodation: Yala Village, Yala Day 12 After breakfast visit the Bundala National Park and proceed to Hotel. Accommodation: Oasis Hotel, Hambantota Day 13 After breakfast leave for Colombo. En route enjoy seeing the Stilt Fishermen , the Fishermen drawing the nets and other interesting forms of earning a live hood. Also visit the Galle Dutch Fortress - a World Heritage Site , a Turtle Hatchery , a Mask Making Factory etc. After dinner transfer to the Airport for departure.
