DAY 01
Arrival , welcome by a representative of Lanka Sportreizen and transfer to Hotel .

DAY 02
After early breakfast leave for Dambulla

En route visit the Elephant Orphanage to see the world' largest herd of domestic Elephants including babies who are still being fed by bottle thrice a day.

In the afternoon visit the Dambulla Cave Complex widely accepted asthe largest painted caves in the world with more than 22,000 sq ft of painted surfaces , yet another World Heritage Site

DAY 03
After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa- the Medieval Capital of Sri Lanka- 11th Century AD

Climb up to the summit of the "Lion Rock " and in the process admire the beauty of the world famous "Sigiri Frescoes" and the remains of the ancient glory which led to this site being declared as a World Heritage Site while being considered as the 8th Wonder of the modern world

In Polonnaruwa , visit the many sites of archaeological and historical interest in the Sacred City of Polonnaruwa including the Grate Statue, Quadrangle, Royal Palace, Vatadage, Hatadage, Siva Devalaya, Gal
Viharaya, Alahana Pirivena Complex, Kumara and Lotus Ponds, Thuparamaya , Rankoth Vehera, Pabalu Vehera , Thiwanka Image House , The Museum etc some of which depict the influensce that Hinduism had on the Buddhist Civilisation during that period of history , by bicycle.

In the evening take part in a Jeep Safari in the Kaudullla / Habarana area with the intention of spotting wild animals.OR Enjoy an Elephant Ride

DAY 04
After breakfast leave for Kandy - the Hill Capital and the last kingdom of the Sri Lankan Kings before falling to the British in 1815 AD via the "Off the beaten track route " through Riverstone , amazing creation of nature by way of a unique climatic pattern in this area in the Knuckles Range.

Get off and enjoy the scenic beauty at the Pitawalapathana Visit a Spice Garden to take part in a conducted tour to be educated on "Spices"

In the evening watch a Cultural Performance by traditional Kandyan
Dancers and Drummers including devotional"Fire Walking" and walk to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha

Overnight stay at the Thilanka Hotel, Kandy - with a Swimming Pool
 

DAY 05
After breakfast undertake a City Tour of Kandy to visit the places of interest including the Upper Lake Drive the Royal Botanical Gardens etc

Leave for Nuwara Eliya - "Little England" En route visit a Tea Factory and a Plantation to take part in a conducted tour to be educated on the manufacturing process of world famous"Ceylon Tea" and to taste a pure unblended pure cup of factory fresh tea

DAY 06
After breakfast leave for the Horton Plains - Sri Lanka's most isolated plateau to visit the World's End - a sheer precipice of more than 1050 metres Proceed to Ella

DAY 07
After breakfast leave for Uda Walawe passing the Rawana Ella Water Falls Lunch with a local family.
Visit the the Uda Walawe National Park for a Jeep Safari - mainly to see wild elephants

DAY 08
After breakfast leave for the beach along the coast line
Overnight stay at the Lihiniya Surf Hotel, Bentota - with a Swimming Pool
 
DAY 09 / DAY 10
Relax / Engage in Water Sport Activities at the Water Sports Centre(own cost) On one of these days , enjoy a boat ride up river to witness the real nature of the local life styles.
